More like Bark Week, are we right? This Saturday, Dog Bar and Grand Central Brewhouse are hosting a dog-friendly, shark-themed block party dubbed Barks for Sharks from 2-5 pm.

In collaboration with Rescue Garage, Tampa Bay Watch, and The Urban Dog Group, the block party serves dual purposes, showcasing a party for dogs and humans while also shining a light on Oceana’s campaign to end the shark fin trade. 73 million sharks fall victim to the fin trade annually, and this event seeks to raise awareness and funds.

The party stretches all along the 2300 Block of Central Avenue with Grand Central Brewhouse and Dog Bar both hosting activities and specials (see more below), with Twisty Bear Bakery and Surly Mermaid Food Truck serving up human eats, and Three Dog Bakery dishing out the good stuff for dogs.
