We finally know what’s replacing the old Tebella hub at Station House in downtown St. Pete, and it’s none other than Bad Mother. “For those who don’t know, Chris and I have been working on this dream project for months. We’ve traveled the world in our kitchen, tasting some of the most stunning, exquisite, coffees a gal could dream of,” wrote Emily Demikat in an Instagram post. Emily and partner Chris Reynolds are finally ready to share their passion with the Sunshine City.
The coffee bar officially opens to the public Saturday, August 6 from 9am-3pm. A grand opening celebration is TBA. “We’ll be serving exciting, experimental and always delicious coffee and specialty drinks,” wrote the owners in the event announcement.

Our area’s coffee culture is growing strong. Station House is a celebrated co-work space in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg. Its second floor features a common area open to the public with myriad tables (and outlets) for visitors to enjoy. The massive coffee bar area is outfitted with a chic bank vault door to elevate the already photogenic space. We are eager to see something fresh brewing behind the bar once more.
