In development since October

Demolition of the store’s interior began the weekend of October 5, 2019.

The shop’s founder, Louisiana Lee, grow up in New Orleans and learned from the best snoball artists in the world. He spent years perfecting his craft, and is now ready to satiate St. Pete on sweltering summer days.
Don’t confuse Snoballs with Snow Cones. They’re mutually exclusive, y’all.
Snoballs are soft and fluffy, like freshly fallen snow, according to the owners.

Soft, fluffy snoballs for a summer day

“Our shaved ice is smooth as butter and absorbs our house made, preservative-free syrups creating the ultimate flavor experience with every bite,” the owners wrote on Uptown Snoballswebsite.
Guests are encouraged to experience their first snoball with a scoop of ice cream on the bottom for the ultimate sweet treat.
An official opening date is still TBA, but you can follow the snoball shop on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
