Let it be ice cream has been my mantra for years. It’s mostly me trying to manifest the treat out of thin air. Now, it’s the name of Gulfport’s newest ice cream shop. Let it Be opened its doors to the public a few weeks ago as Floridians were in the throes of the summer heat.

It’s a wholesome treat for the conscious diner. Current flavors at Let It Be include Pumpkin Pie, a dairy free Pineapple Colada, Lemon Cardamom, Mint Chip, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Butter Pecan, and Cookies & Cream. All seniors (60 and over) receive 10%off their orderbetween 12pm and 5pm.

The shop also has its own pay it forward program.

You can buy someone a single scoop cone or cup OR if you are in need, forgot your wallet or whatever the case may be you can be the recipient of a free single scoop cone or cup. Let it Be currently has 9 Pay it Forwards available to be redeemed.

Visitors can also indulge in ice cream flights. It’s a resplendent debut in a gorgeous pocket of the Tampa Bay region.

Let It Be Ice Cream is owned and operated by Janet Impastato and Tina Grello. They opened their small novelty walk-up window in August of 2019.  Since then we have expanded to a full service ice cream shop just a few blocks away from their original lil window.

You can even get frozen yogurt cups for your pup. Vegan hot dogs, soft pretzels, and Kermits chocolate covered key lime pie.

Go old school with a chocolate malt, a milkshake, a root beer float or banana split.
