Calling all potato fanatics, there is an event specifically engineered for you and all of your spuds. The Wheelhouse is one of the most recommended restaurants in the city of St. Pete. Any time I’ve put out feelers for the top spots for wings and burgers The Wheelhouse is often one of the top picks from our followers. Mark your calendars for Potato Fest on March 17.
Previous iterations of Potato Fest have included big fried mashed potato balls, handcut potato chips, shepherd’s pie fries, and BBQ sauce and bacon topped tater tots. They’ve even dished out a white chocolate cherry potato bread pudding.

The wildest menu on Central Avenue
The fun officially begins on Sunday, March 17, at noon. We also highly recommend you treat yourself to their regular menu specialties. The crispy panko zucchini spears are one of the best appetizers in St. Pete, in addition to their fried mushrooms. You can also indulge in big mozz sticks, and their savory hot totties (a plate of fries smothered in cheese).
Another delightful menu addition: French Bread Pizza. These pies are made with bakery fresh French Loaf and topped with Wisconsin mozzarella cheese and homemade pizza sauce.
Visit: 7220 Central Avenue. Order online, or view the whole menu on its website.
