140 Tampa Bay vendors gather for the final Mezzo Market of 2024

The St. Pete market scene is thriving. These community events’ proliferation inspired a tongue-in-cheek design by acclaimed St. Pete artist Chad Mize. We love St. Marketsburg. One last grand hurrah before the new year is planned for December 21 in the EDGE District, with Mezzo Market taking over the streets with nearly 140 local vendors just outside 1133 Baum Avenue N.

As an added aside: Mize’s Stuff & Things & Stuff pop-up art shop is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 689 Dr. MLK Jr. Street North. The shop features pieces by Chad Mize, Andrea Pawlisz, BASK, and Hardison L. Collins III. A special Uptown Market is also set for December 19 at the same location with a special after-hours menu by Uptown Eats.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Shoppers can browse from vendors selling art, vintage clothes, baked goods, vegan delights, and gifts for your pup and for everyone else on your list. Let’s keep supporting locals this holiday season and year-round.

Mezzo Market is family and pet friendly

It’s family and pet-friendly. To attend the event, we recommend walking, biking, or using public transit or ride-sharing. Limited street parking is available in the district. The convenient Sunrunner Bus Rapid Transit Service has stops at 13th and 8th streets along 1st Avenues North and South, in case you’d like to ride in style.

Visitors can also check out the festive decor at nearby Bar Mezzo during the final week of its Miracle Christmas Bar celebration.

The event takes place along Baum Avenue by Green Bench Brewing and Red Mesa Mercado. The entrance is around 10th St. and Central Avenue.

During the last Mezzo Market, St. Pete Atheltic set up a pop-up ping-pong experience. In 2025, they will open a new indoor pickleball facility in the Warehouse Arts District.
