October is going to be a busy month in the Sunshine City. Come OUT St. Pete, an organization that advocates for community awareness and acceptance of all sexual orientations and gender identities, has planned more than a week’s worth of events in preparation for National Coming Out Day on October 11.
The Come OUT St Pete series of events in St. Petersburg and Gulfport in mid October will celebrate “coming out of the closet and into the world” for the area’s burgeoning LGBTQ community, according to the organization’s website.
