St. Pete is for book lovers. Eckerd College’s Writers in Paradise is back, bringing a star-studded lineup of authors to St. Pete. While the event offers aspiring writers a chance to refine their craft, the evening reading series is open to the public and free of charge, making it a must-attend for fans of contemporary literature.
All readings take place in Miller Auditorium at Eckerd College (4200 54th Ave S), offering a relaxed atmosphere with wine, book browsing, and the chance to meet authors for signings. Doors open 30 minutes before each event, so arrive early to mingle and secure your spot.

The series kicks off on January 18 at 8 p.m. with Karen Russell, author of Swamplandia!, followed by a Q&A with Les Standiford, the Writers in Paradise Conference Director.
