The Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA) and Mt. Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church are bringing back the Holiday Village Extravaganza on Saturday, December 14. This year’s event will blend art, community, and festive holiday cheer at two locations: ArtsXchange (515 22nd Street South) and Mt. Zion (955 20th Street South).
The festivities begin at 5 p.m., coinciding with the city-wide Second Saturday ArtWalk, where guests can explore local galleries and studios. The area will transform into a magical holiday village with sparkling lights, seasonal decorations, carolers, hot chocolate, and even a snow machine to create a wintry vibe in sunny St. Pete.

The holidays reimagined by St. Pete artists
Thanks to Place Projects, two free Star Trolley routes will connect key locations for seamless transportation. One route will link Mt. Zion with WADA’s ArtsXchange along the historic Deuces Corridor, while the other connects the event with local galleries and studios via the ArtWalk Trolley. Event highlights include:
- Closing performance: At 8 p.m., Mt. Zion’s choir, band, and mime ensemble will perform at ArtsXchange for a memorable finale.
- Tree lighting and proclamation ceremony: At 6:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion, this marks the official start of the holiday season.
The Holiday Village Extravaganza is free and open to the public, offering a festive way to celebrate the season while supporting local art and community. For more information about holiday markets and events in St. Pete, click here.
