Beloved Gulfport staple, Stella’s (2914 Beach Blvd. S.), will celebrate its 15th anniversary on November 23. In gratitude for the support Stella’s has received from the community, owner Barbara and her team shared, “I owe it all to you—our amazing guests, supporters, and staff who have been with me every step of the way. To commemorate this milestone, we are throwing a birthday bash like no other. This party lasts all day, so you can indulge from dawn to dusk.”
While exact details are still being finalized, the festivities are sure to make guests feel like family. Stella’s has been a go-to spot for breakfast and brunch, serving fun and filling dishes like pierogi nachos—fried pierogis topped with scrambled eggs, melted cheese, chorizo, tomatoes, onions, salsa verde, and chipotle aioli; traditional biscuits and gravy—browned pork sausage in a peppered cream gravy served over two buttermilk biscuits; and Gulfport French-style toast—two slices of Texas toast soaked in a secret sweet batter, grilled, and topped with cinnamon sugar butter and powdered sugar.

Stella’s is named after the owner’s aunt, a devoted nun who served the Dominican congregations of Manhattan. For Barbara, her aunt Stella epitomizes a love of cooking and family gatherings. Barbara reflects, “Even now, I can effortlessly transport myself back to those cherished moments, picturing [Stella] gracefully moving around the kitchen and savoring the lingering aroma of freshly prepared spaghetti sauce on the stove.” For Stella’s 15-year anniversary, guests can expect Barbara and her team to deliver food that embodies those cherished memories—food that invites us to savor and linger.
