A Plastic Ocean: A Screening & Discussion
Thursday, April 26 from 6:30 to 8:30p.m. Join SPC Seminole for the movie, A Plastic Ocean followed by a discussion. In the center of the Pacific Ocean researchers found more plastic than plankton. A Plastic Ocean documents the newest science, proving how plastics, once they enter the oceans, break into small particulates that enter the food chain where they attract toxins like a magnet. These toxins are stored in seafood’s fatty tissues, and are eventually consumed by us.

Kick-Off Concert for 2018 Triathlon Race Weekend
Friday, April 27 from 6 to 10p.m. To celebrate the 35th annual St. Anthony’s Triathlon, a musical concert has been added featuring country artist and Florida-born triathlete, Erin Cosgrove, and The Petty Hearts, a Tom Petty Tribute Band.
