Team USA is moving on in the World Cup, which means Tampa Bay’s biggest World Cup watch party is fighting on, as well. After watch parties took over Williams Park for the group stage, the party is moving to Jannus Live for the knockout rounds, starting with USA vs Netherlands this Saturday, December 3, at 10 am.
Doors open at 9 am for the massive outdoor watch party, which will have an 18-foot HD screen on stage as the centerpiece, viewable from the entirety of the venue. Admission is $10 at the door (cash or credit), and a portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Ocean Aid 360. Jannus Live will have its full bars open, as well, offering soft drinks, beer, wine, and liquor. And for something to eat, Cap’s will be dishing up breakfast food to sate the appetites of soccer fans.

The watch party is being co-hosted by American Outlaws St. Petersburg chapter, the Tampa Bay Rowdies, The Galley, and Mary Margaret’s Irish Pub. The same group hosted a pair of outstanding watch parties in Williams Park last week, bringing thousands together to cheer on the U.S. Men’s National Team with food, drink, and plenty of good cheer. The events are family-friendly and open to all ages.
As part of the fun, American Outlaws will be marching, drumming and hosting a pre-match pep rally before kickoff at 10 am. There will also be a free raffle drawing at halftime, and drinks available through Jannus. Tickets are available at the door only.
Jannus Live is located at 200 1st Avenue North. Ocean Aid 360 is an emerging powerhouse for community-inclusive design, implementation and monitoring of marine habitat restoration programs.
