The founders, Brandon and Sean Welton, are cousins that hail from Damariscotta, Maine. And we’re glad they brought their home-town pride, and most importantly, oysters, to the the ‘Burg. Besides the raw-bar staples and quintessential Maine-style lobster rolls, Welton’s offers an impressive variety of additional seafood buckets and rolls. Not to mention the cousin’s award-winning craft beers, which won the Oktoberfest tournament in Clearwater, FL. Peruse the food menu here.
According to the restaurant website, “The lead brewer started his love affair with beer while building a beer review website in the late 1990’s with his good friend “Shamas”. He traveled the world in the US Air Force taking inspiration from everywhere… The other cousin was introduced to brewing and enjoying craft beer several years ago and hasn’t looked back since.” While they may not be looking back, we’re certainly looking forward – looking forward to their opening day.
