This March, a second-time event in downtown St. Pete will bring together our love for art, local nonprofits, fashion, and fun nights out on the town. Welcome to The Farm, the popular DTSP country bar, is hosting “Denim Day,” an art-filled fashion show and fundraiser supporting CASA Pinellas, one of the city’s most impactful nonprofits.
Denim Day takes place on Saturday, March 1 at Welcome to the Farm (242 1st Ave N) with festivities beginning at 3 pm and going well into the night. Free to attend, Denim Day kicks off with a live artist painting denim clothing on-site in a variety of inspired styles and looks. At 6:30, the art will be brought to life in a fashion show on the main stage featuring the newly-created pieces.

There will be a silent auction for each piece during the show, with 25% of proceeds going toward CASA Pinellas. Additionally, Welcome to the Farm will match that 25% donation, doubling the impact for this important cause. A highly impactful 501c3 organization, CASA is the official provider of domestic violence support and services in Pinellas County. The teams at CASA provide invaluable resources to individuals and families in need, with support from local city and county organizations.
Not only will proceeds from the fashion auction support this meaningful cause, but Welcome to The Farm and the Forward Hospitality Group will be matching the total in a donation of their own to CASA.
Denim Day is not only an excellent way to help support local families, but also a great reason to enjoy art, fashion, music and some great drinks in downtown St. Pete – all for a good cause.
Welcome To The Farm is a DTSP hotspot for live music and drink specials

With more and more spots popping up in downtown St. Pete, it can be hard to pick a favorite, but Welcome to The Farm has soared to the top of our list when we’re looking for a high-energy night out, weekends and weeknights alike. The country bar co-owned by Chase Rice and local nightlife star Forward Hospitality Group opened at the end of 2023 at 242 1st Avenue North and has continually grown and added to its offerings since its long-anticipated debut. In the many weekends since, it has become a mainstay for dancing, relaxing, watching games and hanging out with friends.
It’s no surprise that Welcome To The Farm has enjoyed such success, of course. Forward Hospitality Group (FWD) has become one of the most influential purveyors of nightlife fun in downtown St. Pete thanks to its revitalization of iconic Jannus Block venues. FWD is also the group behind heavy hitters such as My Rich Uncle, Goodnight John Boy, and the soon-to-open Glamper. We particularly appreciate the variety in these nightlife hubs, bringing something for everyone aged 21-90, and offering experiences across the spectrum. Whether you want country, disco or modern retro, there’s a FWD venue on the block that offers a night full of drinks and dancing the way you want it.
Enjoy some of DTSP’s best drink specials at WTF

Of course, one of our favorite things about Welcome To The Farm goes beyond the live music and active dance floor. Night in and night out, they have some of the best drink deals you’ll find anywhere in the downtown bar scene. In this economy, we’re thrilled to find a spot that’s easy on the wallet – especially one as fun as Welcome To The Farm.
Of particular note, they have different deals each night Wednesday-Sunday, prime time for going out. The best deals come on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. As a service industry member, I’m certainly partial to the Sunday specials.
For fans of alliteration, you can make it a Whiskey Wednesday every week. Welcome To The Farm not only runs whiskey specials each Wednesday, but they do it with whiskeys you actually want to drink (or shoot), not just wells. Bar-goers can enjoy discounts on Buffalo Trace, Bulleit, Jack Daniels, and Fireball every Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, the alliteration rolls on into the week with Tequila Thursdays (it may not sound as good as Tequila Tuesday, but we’d prefer a Thursday night out anyway.) Whatever your preferred vehicle for tequila, you can get it cheap on Thursdays at Welcome To The Farm with specials on Corazon, Onda Tequila Seltzer, Mexican Tea Shots, and the Owens Margarita. Plus, they have free karaoke from 9 pm to midnight on Thursdays. A little tequila-based courage is exactly what you need to get on stage.
For our local hospitality professionals, Sundays are a must-visit. St. Pete is great to its industry folks, with a long list of local spots offering a variety of discounts on different days of the week. Welcome To The Farm’s service industry night may be our favorite, as they offer 50% off the entire tab for all hospitality workers with proof of employment, going from noon to close. To make things better, the bar is open until 1 am every Sunday night, so even if you’re working during the day, you know you’ll have a cold drink or two waiting on you as soon as you’re off.
