The BE is partnering up with The Rays for a day of yoga and baseball inside the Trop! Start your morning right with a vigorous flow class on an authentic MLB field. Barks for Sharks St Petersburg
Celebrate and advocate for Sharks with your furry friends! Sharks need our help. More than 73 million sharks end up in the shark fin trade every year with many making it to the U.S. market. This event is calling for a #FinBanNow. Bring your dog and join us to raise awareness, take action and celebrate sharks. The event will feature a dog-shark costume contest, a shark photo booth with props, shark drink specials benefiting Pet Pal, and a lot more!

This is the grouper capital of the world and we’re all about celebrating the tasty, flaky, white fish. Social gatherings designed for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-17. Metro staff members facilitate a safe, welcoming environment for all. A1000 Paper Cranes Folding Event – Origami
During this special folding event, students from St. Petersburg’s Sister City in Takamatsu, Japan will be #attheMFA teaching guests how to fold cranes in several different ways! The folding paper and the instructions will be supplied. The cranes will be sent to the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima, Japan, to join cranes sent from all around the world. This family-friendly event will be fun for kids of all ages.

Skate for Jamaica
Come by Green Bench Brewery to support the build of Jamaica’s first Skatepark! Stoefs Studio is teaming up with Concrete Jungle foundation who will be donating a $120,000 skatepark to Jamaica. This first in the country! In January 2020, we will be building this 1000 sq meter park in the heart of Kingston. It will give a safe place for the youth of the country to skate within the realms of the law & continue to enrich the skate culture. Come by to watch some skating on a half pipe in the beer garden, followed by live music. Check out the local vendors & sponsors and get in on $2000 worth of prizes and giveaways. Celebrate Sinatra – 22nd Annual
An annual 1950s style nightclub party that has kept the tradition going every year since Frank Sinatra’s passing in 1998. Tom Tiratto and his full big band orchestra will perform with Lisa Casalino, Andy Stefano and Paul Phillips. The event will also feature an open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres and desserts, casino gaming tables, cigars, and complimentary valet parking. Dress code is black tie so be sure to dress to the nines! St Pete Biker Block Party
Grab the crew for a block party with an outdoor stage, beer truck and bar, food vendors, local vendors, game station, and bike show. All motorcycles welcome! 18th St will be shut down to traffic along with the lot under the highway just west of the Cafe. The outdoor stage will feature live music from Betty Fox Band and Greg Billings Band and a bar will be located under the overpass.

Flamingos Final Bash
The Burg’s iconic Flamingo Resort will officially close its current location, according to a report by Watermark Online. Flamingo’s manager Jon Jusino made the announcement at the club. In the Flamingo’s place, new apartment towers will rise. Don’t worry, the GM noted that The Flamingo would reopen in a new location, though the specific spot is still TBA. So, with all that in mind, this will be the last chance to hang at the St. Petersburg Flamingo Resort in its current location. Make it memorable!

Ready to learn about self-defense and how it can help you as a runner and walker? We’re very pleased to announce Runners Self Defense Class for ages 12 and up. The class is designed to promote safety awareness geared towards runners and walkers. Taekwondo Master Bill Ferkile is an avid runner and we’re thrilled to invite him to lead this class at our store.
