Great Exploration’s Children’s Museum: Terrific Tots
Terrific Tots is a multidisciplinary program featuring live and interactive music and activities. We start each class with 'Good Morning' in different languages, sing-along songs, and age appropriate developmental interactive activities. Together, parents and children share the experience as they enjoy instruments to make music, a live guitar performance, movement, motion and motor skills. Each week highlights new and different activities. Led by Great Explorations AmeriCorps members, Natalina and Claire, this program meets Wednesday and Friday from 11am-11:30 am in the Water Room. Parents and children ages 1 to 3 are welcome to participate in the program, which is free with museum admission. Museum of Fine Arts 255 Beach Dr. NE.
Body and Soul Exhibit (Fri. & Sat.)
The gallery doors will open to reveal amazing glass sculptures and photography depicting the human body from the perspectives of three very different artists. From abstract and powerful to dynamic and contemporary, each of these pieces will provide depth, beauty and amazement for all our guests to witness. While you browse, enjoy an adult beverage, soda or water for a donation from our custom bars (All donations benefit the DMG School Project). Harte and Marshall: An Art Exhibition
This is an exhibition of artwork by local painters John Harte and Cora Marshall. In this tandem display, you can explore in depth the artwork of John Harte and Cora Marshall, who were selected to exhibit their work after their participation in The Studio’s “Members Only Art Show” in 2013. Earth Day St. Pete!
1st Annual Earth Day Festival in the Burg. Celebrate Earth Day in beautiful South Straub Park. The city will join more than 190 countries, over one billion people, to commemorate the birth of the modern environmental movement that began in 1970. This FREE event will be presented by the Downtown Partnership, an organization that is focusing on the businesses that support green initiatives.
