Tiki Bagel is officially open at 455 75th Ave North. Owner PJ Powell worked tirelessly for months to bring this new savory morning to fruition. Located in the historic site of the former Gail’s Diner, Tiki Bagel is a place where history meets modern, tropical charm.

This bagel shop is hard to miss. The exterior features a colorful tiki mural by local artist Leo Gomez. Powell also says 33 Ground & Design was extremely helpful in getting the space ready for its summer debut.

Tiki Bagel is not just a place to grab a quick bite; it’s an experience. The shop features a cereal bar for kids, making it a perfect stop for families looking to enjoy a fun and tasty breakfast before heading to St. Pete Beach.

Understanding the beach culture of St. Pete, Tiki Bagel offers a deconstructed bagel bucket, perfect for beachgoers to enjoy their meal right on the sand. They’re also creating branded frisbees for added fun. Tentative hours are from 7:30am to 2pm, though they may adjust based on customer traffic.

PJ Powell and the team also hope to turn Tiki Bagel into a franchising opportunity for young entrepreneurs, fostering growth within the community.
