Sometimes when you need a glass of wine, you NEED a glass of wine. Thanks to a new concept in Historic Kenwood, you can cut out the middleman and get straight to that lovely vino.

The Study had its grand opening over the weekend, debuting its pour-your-own wine and beer lounge located at 3100 3rd Avenue North. The setup is similar to that of the Oak & Stone beer wall where guests can pour as much or as little of the beer as they like. But in this instance, The Study has a full 32 different wines on tap, preserved in climate-controlled cases.

The experience allows an incredible variety of wine sampling in just one visit, though some may pick a favorite and stick with it. Their offerings fill all areas of the wine spectrum, offering reds and whites of different varietals from all over. And for those who prefer beer, The Study features 18 different local craft brews, including six rotating taps of the good stuff.

In addition to wine and beer, The Study also offers charcuterie boards and a range of chocolates and sweets for pairing with the wine. The lounge also hosts events on an almost daily basis, throwing open mic nights, social club mixers, and plenty of live music. This Friday, for instance, they’re hosting live jazz music, they had a harpist at the grand opening, and you can snag bottomless mimosas this Sunday.

The Study joins a growing neighborhood, taking up residence next to Gateway Subs and Cider Press Café, two Kenwood stars. We expect The Study to fit right in. Follow them on Facebook for more updates.
