A lovely new spot for great wines, hot food and more has made its debut in downtown St. Pete. The Cork Room opened at 397 5th Street South back in the fall, and the cozy bar has quickly earned a devoted following among the many residents living nearby.

Promising locally-sourced wines, The Cork Room has a wide variety of natural and specialty wines available in all forms. Several of the marquee selections are available on tap to drink inside the airy bar, with a huge selection available by the glass, bottle, or in package to-go.

The Cork Room also offers a menu of tasty eats, ranging from flatbreads and charcuterie to meatballs, spinach dip, and even some tempting duck wontons. More options include smoked gouda pretzels, deviled eggs, cheesecake, and five variations of their flatbreads.

The Cork Room also has a Monday-Friday happy hour offering $2 off 6-oz wine pours and 25% off select small plates. We’d also recommend checking out “Flatbread Fridays” when you can get a bottle of wine and a Margherita flatbread for only $20 from 3-5 pm every Friday.

The new bar for the neighborhood is the sister of South Tampa’s The Cork Room, open in Davis Islands since March of 2021. Follow along on facebook for more.
