Wordier Than Thou Storytelling and Prose Open Mic at Studio@620
The third Tuesday of each month, join Wordier Than Thou for an open mic night that focuses on storytelling and fiction. A featured reader will kick off the night, followed by open mic slots. Readers get ten minutes. Begins at 7pm. $5 donation at the door. Studio@620, 620 1st Avenue South.
The Homemade Broadcast Presents Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic at Sly Bar
The HMB presents a stand-up comedy open mic night every other Tuesday at Sly Bar. Each comic who signs up has five minutes of stage time. Winner of $50 is judged by audience participation. Sign up begins at 8:30pm. Sly Bar, 2061 Central Avenue. **The next event is July 12.
