Storytime with great authors in St. Pete

The festival’s highlight features a lineup of award-winning authors, including the much-anticipated return of Winsome Bingham. Known for The Walk and Soul Food Sunday, Bingham once wrote at St. Pete’s own James Weldon Johnson Library. She’ll share her latest stories with the community through two storytime sessions in the Legacy Gardens’ Story Stage. Catch her reading The Walk at 10:15am and Missing Mama at 2:15pm, as she brings tales of family, tradition, and love to life.

Local author Nicole D. Collier, acclaimed for The Many Fortunes of Maya and Just Right Jillian, will also join the festivities. She’ll present her newest work, The Best Friend Bracelet, which explores the beauty and complexities of friendship. Collier’s author talk begins at 10:00am in the Gallery, offering insight into the special bonds that connect us, symbolized by a simple bracelet.

Join Barnes for an engaging discussion about his new hero in the Gallery at 2:00pm.
