This is a good news bad news story. Bad news first. Due to the unforeseen sale of the production building they occupy, beloved kimchi and kombucha vendors, St. Pete Ferments (SPF), has to relocate. Writing on them in the past, We at I Love the Burg laude SPF: they are a local market standout, whose fermented goodies entice waves of customers at Saturday Morning Market and Indie Flea. While this sudden relocation disappoints, there is some good news.

The good: SPF’s new spot off 3rd and MLK is better located and provides SPF the opportunity to expand operations beyond the usual markets. Relocating may open new opportunities, but the sudden transition entails unanticipated, burdensome costs. SPF is counting on community support to offset some of their losses so they can get back to doing what they do, jarring the finest fermented goods in the ‘Burg. And your donation will not go unreciprocated. In appreciation, they’re giving back to donors.
