The St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show is the largest on the Gulf Coast, with boats displayed on both water and land. Other activities at the show include kids fishing seminars, on-water training courses, and a wide array of culinary experiences. It’s currently nominated in USA Today’s “Best Boat Shows in America” list.
Voting in the poll is open now, and ends on April 29 at noon. The winners will be announced on May 8.

A waterfront tradition in St. Pete draws huge crowds
This annual event in St. Pete occurs in January, with the next one set for January 23-26, 2025 at Duke Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin and Albert Whitted Park.
Past iterations of the event have included an impressive lineup of powerboats and sailboats displayed in-water and on-land, along with a 40,000 sq. ft. tent housing an extensive selection of marine equipment and accessories. Other show attractions frequently include seminars, kids fishing clinics, and on-water boat training courses with the Annapolis School of Seamanship and Progressive.
The boat show boasted a record-breaking attendance back in 2023, and we imagine each subsequent year could be bigger at the Sunshine City’s profile grows.
