Let’s get this bread, St. Pete, specifically sourdough. Sourdough Co. has just announced on Facebook that it’s moving into 1113 Central Avenue. According to the owners, it’s Florida’s first sourdough only bakery and cafe, and the grand opening is slated for this Saturday, November 11.

Owner Ariana Duksa noted on Facebook that the bakery will offer fresh baked artisan loaves, soups, salads, sandwiches and more. I have a feeling it will be one of the most aromatic institutions in the ‘Burg. 

They’re currently hiring, so those interested in being part of this new venture can email jobs@thesourdough.co. Once open, their tentative hours will be Monday through Sunday from 8am-6pm.

I haven’t had the pleasure of experience their baked goods before, but the sourdough brownies listed on their website look incredible. Over the summer, this operation was also slinging huge sourdough chocolate chip cookies that will tantalize my dreams forever more.
