Sip, a wine bar on St. Pete Beach, nears official opening

If we’re going to travel outside the ‘Burg, it’s probably going to be to visit St. Pete Beach. White sand beaches, tons of fun local shops and boutiques, and ample dining options await. The weekend of September 4, Sip St. Pete Beach, a new wine bar, is opening at 6710 Gulf Boulevard North.

Sip’s location puts it right next to the celebrated Sola Bistro.

“Nestled amidst the white sand beach of St. Pete, Sip St. Pete is a place where pretense falls away and beach goers can shake off the distractions and the hubbud of everyday life,” the owners wrote on the Sip website.

The menu currently features more than 20 different wines to sample. Those on the menu will rotate as new wines come in season.

Charcuterie and a selection of light bites will also be on the menu. It’s quiet opening is set for September 4 from 4-8pm. An official opening date with hours is still TBA.
