Sea Hags is a waterfront staple, and it’s been a beach lover’s favorite for nearly 15 years. The casual joint serves up plenty of “Old Florida Charm” and “Local Island Hospitality,” in addition to some of the freshest seafood in Tampa Bay. On June 5, the restaurant and bar will unfortunately close for good.
“We all kind of knew this day was coming when a developer bought the property a few years ago, but that doesn’t make any easier,” wrote the Sea Hags owners in a Facebook post. “We got 15 years out of this place — which was a pretty good run for an old fishing hut built in the 1950s.”
