Five months of Broadway shows are coming to town, as Ruth Eckerd Hall unveiled its lineup for the 2022-23 season. A total of seven Broadway performances are on the docket – including CATS, My Fair Lady and Riverdance – with ticket sales beginning this Friday, August 5. Pre-sales for members began last week.
The season officially kicks off on December 4 with two performances of Anastasia, and concludes on April 23 with a one-night-only performance of CATS. In between, Ruth Eckerd Hall will host, in chronological order, My Fair Lady, Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show, Blue Man Group, R.E.S.P.E.C.T (celebrating Aretha Franklin), and On Your Feet! The Story Of Emilio & Gloria Estefan.

Seven Broadway shows coming to Clearwater
Anastasia, December 4: “From the Tony Award®-winning creators of the Broadway classic Ragtime, this dazzling show transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat.”
My Fair Lady, December 18: “From Lincoln Center Theater that brought you The King & I and South Pacific, comes ‘a sumptuous new production of the most perfect musical of all time’ (Entertainment Weekly). Boasting such classic songs as I Could Have Danced All Night, The Rain in Spain, Wouldn’t It Be Loverly and On the Street Where You Live, My Fair Lady tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a ‘proper lady.’”
Riverdance, January 17-19: “Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show is Riverdance, as you’ve never seen it before! Blue Man Group, February 2-3: “More than 35 million people around the world have experienced the smash hit phenomenon that is BLUE MAN GROUP and now it’s your turn! BLUE MAN GROUP premieres in Clearwater for a limited engagement on their new North American tour.
