Spring training is right around the corner, and so is the return of one of St. Pete’s most loved free and family-friendly events. The Tampa Bay Rays announced they will be hosting the 2024 Rays Fan Fest at Tropicana Field on Saturday, February 17 from 1-5 pm.

The free and fun-filled event brings fans of all ages onto the field to not only prepare for the upcoming season, but to enjoy a fun day at the park. There will be tons of interactive games, inflatables, a massive Rays gear yard sale (where everything is only $5), Home Clubhouse tours, and even an entertaining stage show. And the star of the show: dozens of current and former major league players and coaches will be on hand for photos.

This serves as the first chance for fans to meet the 2024 Rays team in person, as fest-goers can interact with players (as well as mascots) and come home with fantastic souvenirs. Tickets to the autograph areas are now sold out. Fan Fest is also the first opportunity for fans to purchase this season’s new merchandise, and there will also be a charity yard sale benefitting the Rays Baseball Foundation.

While Rays Fan Fest is a free event, all attendees must a claim a ticket using the MLB Ballpark App, the same app used for Rays regular season games. Free parking is available in lots 1, 2, 5 and 6. Rays season members will have their tickets automatically added to their account and will receive early access to festivities.
