Raining Berries is a new cafe that serves up açaí bowls, coffee, matcha, fresh sodas, tasty toasts and more — and it will open on the ground floor of the Artistry Apartments in St. Petersburg in January 2022.
The wild pink oasis features some of the most ample açaí bowls you’ve ever indulged in. This is in addition to an expansive coffee menu, a selection of toasts, and nutritious smoothies.

Raining Berries began in 2018 in Florida
Founded in 2018 by Bimal Bhojani, Raining Berries “seeks to transform the coffee scene,” notes the ownership team in the company’s mission statement.
“With over 200 years of family ties to the coffee industry in Uganda, we founded our company with a simple goal in mind: authenticity and unity,” writes Bhojani. “We want to be a positive part of your lives, and contribute to making our society a better one through the donation of 1% of all gross profits to a Raining Berries charity of choice.”
An opening timeline is still TBA, but the concept has officially put up its sign at 1601 Central Avenue. Construction officially began on April 23.
