NYC Christmas cocktail bar, Miracle, to pop up at Intermezzo

Arrangement of upside down Santa mugs

Want to know why we love Intermezzo? Because the craft cocktail bar is never ever boring. This holiday season it will revolutionize itself once again when the NYC-born Miracle Bar pops up at 1111 Central Avenue.

What is Miracle Bar? The concept was born in the East Village of NYC in 2014. Since its inception, it’s become almost an appointment attraction for all in its vicinity. The founders describe it as “the best office party you’ve ever been to.”

The Miracle Bar has more than 80 locations globally, with pop ups in major destinations like Greece, Paris and Montreal.

Holiday spirits will make seasons bright in the EDGE

To call it holiday-themed would be a bit of an understatement. Miracle turns all of its locations into the North Pole. Festive barrel cups, myriad Santa decorations, garland, stockings and more contribute to an uproarious and joyous environment.

Miracle at Mezzo begins on Black Friday and will continue through New Year’s Eve. An early teaser from the Miracle at Mezzo Instagram account shows The Christmas Carol Barrel — a super festive cocktail made with rum, aquavit, amaro, pumpkin, lemon, orange, and bitters.

Spiced bourbon and rum add a strong holiday kick

Take your holiday spirit in a shot glass? Miracle will also offer peppermint and chocolate infused rum, and cinnamon infused bourbon.

Shimmering ornaments will dangle from the ceiling. Kitschy Santa mugs will be filled with fresh cocktails. Santa hats will cover the seats at the bar where you’ll be able to indulge in all the spiked eggnog you can handle.

Follow the pop up on Instagram for updates.
