St. Petersburg is gearing up for its annual New Year’s Eve celebration at the St. Pete Pier (600 2nd Ave NE). This family-friendly event offers a lively way to ring in 2025 with food, drinks, and entertainment.

The festivities begin at 8 p.m. and are free to the public. The evening will feature live DJs, food trucks, games, and champagne bars, all set against a prime waterfront view. Since parking at the Pier will be limited, attendees are encouraged to arrive early. For those looking to avoid the hassle of parking, PSTA’s bus service, including the SunRunner, will be free on New Year’s Eve. Other bus routes, including 4, 18, 34, and 52, will operate until 1 a.m.

At midnight, the City of St. Petersburg will light up the sky with its annual fireworks display. The show, which will last around 20 minutes, will be visible from the Pier and along the downtown waterfront parks.
