A pair of beloved Tampa Bay brands are helping take one of St. Pete’s rising stars to the next level. The founders of Pacific Counter and Blind Tiger Coffee Roasters have announced their investment and partnership with the Burg’s Mother Kombucha and grow the local favorite into a regional powerhouse.

The joint venture unites a trio of small businesses “with plans to dominate the beverage industry in Florida and the Southeastern United States,” they announced in a press release. Mother Kombucha is the fastest growing craft kombucha brand in the state of Florida, and it is already a staple drink served in all ten of Blind Tiger Coffee’s locations.

Mother Kombucha, the fastest growing kombucha brewery in Florida and offers eight craft-brewed bottled flavors and ten draft flavors, all of which are certified organic, vegan and kosher. Their second product line, Agua Bucha, is a kombucha powered sparkling water that makes the benefits of kombucha accessible to a wider audience through flavor profile, low sugar and low price point. Mother Kombucha said it will be launching the shelf stable product line Agua Bucha with e-commerce membership retailer Thrive Market beginning in August of this year, followed by distribution with Sprouts in October of 2023. Mother Kombucha is currently sold in more than 1,500 retail locations, including Publix, Costco, Winn Dixie and Whole Foods Market.

The long term plan for Mother Kombucha and its investors includes expanding the Agua Bucha, product line as part of a strong, sustainable growth in beverage markets across the Southeastern United States.
