More than 40 local artists are taking over The Factory this Friday for one of the biggest art shows and holiday celebrations of the season. “Joy to the Wayworld” is a holiday extravaganza featuring a group art show, market, music, food, drinks, and even prizes for the best Christmas costumes.

The celebration of all things local starts at 7 pm this Friday, December 16 at The Factory St. Pete, 2622 Fairfield Avenue South. Joy to the Wayworld, as the name lets on, is being hosted by the celebrated local artists Jason Harvin, AKA Wayward Walls. However, the event is truly a celebration of St. Pete and the Tampa Bay area’s entire art scene.

The roster of prolific local artists runs deep, with more than three dozen joining in the fun. Standouts such as Chad Mize, Jujmo, Leo Gomez, Zulu Painter, Saint Paint Arts and The Vitale Bros are just the tip of the painted iceberg for the occasion. Art will of course be for sale, along with other creations from local makers and vendors.

Drinks will be available for purchase, as well, alongside food from one of St. Pete’s newest late-night stars. The Birria Bros has become a staple in the local art scene over the last year, dishing up cheesy goodness alongside art galleries on an almost weekly basis. Their Palestinian twist on birria is absolutely a must-try.
