One of the biggest nights of the year is around the corner in Clearwater, but the fun has already begun. As part of their annual fundraiser for The Marcia P. Hoffman School of The Arts, Ruth Eckerd Hall is hosting a truly incredible auction showcasing memorabilia signed by some of the biggest stars in the industry, and musical experiences you can’t find anywhere else.
And best of all: you don’t have even have to leave the house to take part. Though we do recommend checking out the “In The Air Tonight” benefit (headlined by Tom Jones!) if you can. More on that below.

While Jones is the big star on the stage, he certainly isn’t the only one with a presence this year. This year’s auction features an unreal collection of items and experiences, with bidding available now. From signed Billy Idol memorabilia to immersive musical experiences, it’s a genuinely impressive list.
Exciting experiences include a night at Red Rocks (pick the concert of your choice, and it includes a three-night hotel stay), as well as the chance to attend country’s music’s biggest awards night: the Country Music Awards in Nashville.
Meanwhile, the incredible selection of musical memorabilia available for bidding includes a Daughtry autographed guitar and poster, an Ed Sheeran autographed guitar, a Billy Idol autographed poster, and Sarah McLachlan autographed piano keys. You can even get Herbie Hancock’s Herbie Hancock.
Proceeds from the auction and the star-studded benefit support one of the largest providers of arts education and community engagement in the country, The Marcia P. Hoffman School of The Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall, which offers arts opportunities to over 60,000 students of all ages and abilities annually. Their work in providing educational and cultural opportunities for students is unmatched, and events like the auction and In The Air Tonight make their work possible.
Legendary Tom Jones headlines spring benefit under the stars at The BayCare Sound
A glamorous night of music, lights, and luxe vibes hits Clearwater on May 2, as Ruth Eckerd Hall brings “In The Air Tonight” to life at the stunning BayCare Sound. This South Beach-inspired benefit promises an unforgettable evening under the stars. Tickets are available now, and expected to sell out.
It’s not unusual for the new amphitheater to host big stars, but we’re particularly excited that Ruth Eckerd Hall has tabbed the legendary Tom Jones to headline the evening’s festivities. In addition to his special performance, the charity extravaganza will feature incredible food and drink, an auction with some truly wild items and experiences, giveaways, a high-energy after party, and much more.
The all-inclusive tickets allow supporters full access to culinary stations, passed appetizers, craft cocktail bars, and of course, great seats for the private concert with Tom Jones. The knighted Welsh musician, who has enjoyed a decades-long award-winning career, has constantly topped the charts thanks to hits like She’s A Lady, It’s Not Unusual, Kiss, Delilah, What’s New Pussycat, I’ll Never Fall In Love Again, and If I Only Knew.
In The Air Tonight is a near-unprecedented opportunity to see the icon perform in an intimate and private setting, all while supporting the star artists of tomorrow. Following the event, all guests will be invited to the After Party featuring Frequency, Orlando’s hottest dance band. Tickets for the benefit can be purchased here.
Learn more about In The Air Tonight here, and check out the full auction here. The spring benefit takes place on Friday, May 2, at 6:30 pm at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater.
