We’re officially halfway to Tampa Bay Beer Week, the longest and biggest celebration of craft beer in the region. To celebrate, organizers are hosting the gigantic Halfway There Beer Celebration in the St. Petersburg Coliseum on Saturday, August 24 from 1-4 pm.
The sprawling annual beer fest will welcome dozens upon dozens of the best breweries in St. Pete, Tampa, the state of Florida, and even from across the globe. Our slice of paradise here in Pinellas County has been nicknamed the Gulp Coast for its outstanding craft beer industry, and this festival full of unlimited sampling is the perfect opportunity to get your hands (and lips) on the best of the best.

Tickets are $65 in advance ($75 at the door) and include unlimited samples from more than 50 different breweries, each of them featuring at least two beers, ciders and/or RTDs. The annual festival has quickly become a favorite for local beer enthusiasts, and last year’s rendition was truly one of the more fantastic beer festival experiences we’ve had.
In addition to all the great drinks, there will also be food trucks on-site to help keep everyone fed (and to help soak up some of those drinks, of course). There will also be a selection of non-alcoholic beverages available as part of the sampling fun. And on that note, Designated Driver tickets are also available for $20. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
