HaleLife Bakery is one of my favorite sweet spots in the city. The gluten-free focaccia is an absolute revelation and the bakery’s rotating specials continue to astound my taste buds. The owner has just announced that their grand opening of the expanded bistro concept is this weekend at 11270 4th Street North.

HaleLife had been in a soft-open phase, and will now unveil its full menu of offerings, including all-day breakfast, shareables, sandwiches, baked goods and much more. Check out our instagram reel from the soft-open phase.

This bistro location will allow HaleLife to expand its already impressive list of offerings that includes an amazing breakfast quesadilla, breakfast sandwiches, a drink selection curated with help from Herban Flow, and grab-and-go items like frozen flatbreads, cookie dough bites, and bagels.

Initial plans called for two community tables with 12 seats each, along with 6 4-person booths, along with 8 more seating options for larger groups.

We’ve enjoyed HaleLife as our go-to sweet spot, I’m still dreaming about the peach cobbler donut, but we’re thrilled to see this local passion project grow. Follow HaleLife on Instagram and its website for updates.

A passion project that began more than 10 years in the making

Owners Taylor Miller and Laura McCutcheon (son & mother) were both diagnosed with Celiac Disease one year apart back in 2008 and 2009.

In fall of 2016, the duo opened the nation’s first dedicated gluten-free event center and learning kitchen in Clearwater. One year later, in October 2017 they proudly opened the doors to their dedicated gluten-free, dairy, soy & egg free bakery in the front of their center to continue to help serve and support their local gluten-free and Celiac community.

Since that time Lauren and the entire HaleLife team have worked tirelessly to make sure everyone can enjoy some thine delicious in the region.
