The Floridian Social (687 Central Ave) in downtown St. Pete is for sale. The music and events venue/ chic bar has been a mainstay in St. Pete for decades. Formerly the State Theatre, the 2020 renovation of the space included new electrical, audio/video/lighting, plumbing, mechanical, millwork, security cameras, restrooms, décor, and marquee signage.
Kevin Chadwick was the visionary behind the renovations — and he noted during an initial tour of the venue in 2021 that was the spot where his parents had their first date. Since its return to the ‘Burg, Floridian Social has been a home for aerialists, fire dancers, funk bands, film screenings, and craft cocktails.
