Join Family Promise of Pinellas County in A Murder at The Hawthorne – A Jazz Era themed night, complete with an active murder mystery, to benefit the homeless families in Pinellas County.

Included in your admission – One bottle of wine per head (red, white, or bubbles) as well as a charcutarie board build for 1 or 2! *Please make you wine selection via the “Add-On” function in the ticketing screen.*
The event will begin at 8pm on at Hawthorne Bottle Shoppe. It will be a night filled with bubbles, music, raffles, pop tarts, and murder.
The Event Setting
The guests are a mixed group of club staff members, entertainers, and guests at a private party held at a jazz club in 1920s New York City. It is the height of the Jazz Age, and social revolution is afoot. This is the age of Prohibition—and of bootleggers and gangsters. Club owner Felix Fontano, the son of a successful bootlegger and crime boss—and a successful businessman himself—is throwing this private party for a group of select friends. It is a night of revelry like many other nights of revelry enjoyed by this group of sophisticates, artists, and hoodlums . . . until things go horribly wrong….
This event is to benefit Family Promise of Pinellas County’s Night Without a Bed Campaign.
Night Without a Bed is a campaign run by Family Promise that raises awareness about family homelessness, a crisis that affects more than 537 children in Pinellas County every year. Imagine sleeping in your car and having to get ready for school or work. Or moving from one motel to another to have a roof overhead. Those are just some of the realities faced by families experiencing homelessness.
1 in 19 children experiences homelessness before entering the first grade.
The number one cause of family homelessness is a lack of affordable housing. On average, there are only 33 affordable rentals available for every 100 extremely low income households.
Children who experience homelessness are at increased risk of academic failure and physical and mental health issues.
Family homelessness is an invisible crisis. Ashamed of the stigma of homelessness, families often go out of their way to keep their situation hidden.
