Creative Play Children’s Learning Center Invites Community to Sponsor Gather & Grow Reception for Expansion Fundraiser
Gulfport, FL – April 20, 2024 – Creative Play Children’s Learning Center, a beloved school in Gulfport for the past 15 years, is thrilled to extend a warm invitation to the community to support the upcoming Gather & Grow Reception. This event serves as both a celebration of the center’s legacy and a vital fundraiser for its expansion to a new, larger property in Pinellas Park.
Under the leadership of Kya McMahon, Director of Creative Play, the school has been dedicated to honoring the unique interests, needs, rights, and capacities of every child. Now, with the support of the community, Creative Play is preparing to embark on an exciting new chapter as it moves to a one-and-a-half-acre location in Pinellas Park this fall.
The Gather & Grow Reception, scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, promises to be an evening of joy, community spirit, and philanthropy. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a farm-to-table experience featuring fresh produce from the center’s own garden, along with local musicians, artwork, and a silent auction.
“We invite members of our community to join us in celebrating our rich history in Gulfport and supporting our vision for the future,” says Kya. “Our goal is to raise $75,000 to help fund the final costs of the move and expansion to our new location in Pinellas Park. This new location will provide ample space for our students to grow and thrive from early childhood through elementary school.”
Supporting the Gather & Grow Reception is a meaningful way for community members to contribute to this important cause. With a fundraising goal of $75,000, Creative Play Children’s Learning Center relies on the generosity and support of donors and sponsors to make the final push to prepare the new property for classes in the fall.
Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $35. New this year, Creative Play is offering a $100 “Friend Ticket” which includes raffle tickets and recognition at the event.
“I am grateful for your support in any capacity, and humbled to be leading our community of students and parents into this exciting new chapter,” adds Kya.
