Downtown St. Petersburg is soon to welcome its newest dining destination with the opening of Eve, a contemporary Mediterranean restaurant located within the newly constructed Galaxy Hotel (101 3rd Ave N). Spearheaded by accomplished restaurateur, Shan Bakrac, Eve promises to offer a unique culinary experience inspired by a diverse array of Mediterranean flavors and culinary techniques.

Eve, which will seat approximately 174 guests, marks the fourth restaurant and second fine dining establishment by its founder, who previously introduced the acclaimed Fortu. The restaurant’s ambiance and menu will reflect the extensive culinary experiences and innovative vision of its creator.

“I designed Eve to create a transformative environment with a bold and unique design at a very affordable price point, so many people can enjoy dining with us often,” writes Shan Bakrac in an email to I Love the Burg.

Eve will be a new chic late-night lounge in St. Pete

In addition to its regular dining hours, Eve will transform into a lounge on weekends, extending its service until 2am. The grand opening is scheduled for this winter.

Expressing gratitude for the ongoing support, the founder shared excitement about this new venture and hinted at plans to expand into the Tampa market. Despite facing challenges with Fortu, the lessons learned are expected to contribute to the success and smooth operation of Eve.
