The essential fall drinks to try in St. Pete this season

St. Petersburg is filled with some of the coolest cafes and coffee shops in Florida. Many of these shops are slinging autumn-inspired drinks to add a bit of crispness to the air. These are arranged in alphabetical order because we couldn’t begin to rank these spots – they’re all incredible.

We’ll be updating this list closer to September 23 (aka the first day of Fall) as several shops have promised their Fall drinks are coming soon! Did we miss your cafe? Send us an email with your fall drink: info@ilovetheburg.com

the maple bourbon latte and a baked good at Bandit St. Pete

Bandit Coffee
2662 Central Ave
Bandit has one of our favorite fried chicken sandwiches in town. It’s also one of our favorite local coffee shops. Their infamous Maple Bourbon latte is back for the fall and winter season. It’s housemade with the real stuff from Kentucky (non-alcoholic), grade A Vermont maple syrup, Madagascar vanilla, anise star, sea salt & demerara sugar, and topped with a dusting of chai spice. It pairs well with any of their seasonal pastries, but we’re partial to the Chai Plum Breakfast Cake they have as a special right now.

cookie butter cold foam cold brew drink at beans and barlour

Beans & Barlour
407 Central Ave
Our favorite whimsical boozy ice cream, coffee, and bagel shop continues to outdo themselves. Beans and Barlour’s entry into the fall drink specials is a Cookie Butter Cold Foam Cold Brew. Can you say that five times fast? It’s a cookie butter cold brew topped with cookie butter cold foam, Biscoff Cookie Crunch, and a cookie butter drizzle. And it sounds heavenly. While you’re there, make sure you snag their viral Krab Rangoon Bagel because it’s now part of the permanent menu.

a mug with pumpkin spice latte sits on a wooden table with a vase of flowers and a small pumpkin

The Chelsea St. Pete
2462 5th Ave N
The Chelsea feels like it’s a hidden gem still. Tucked into the Warehouse Arts District, it’s part coffee shop, part tea shop, part gift shop, and a lovely little patio space. Their Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Bun Latte fall special is all of our favorite things in one cup. If you want something cozy but not as funky, check out their regular pumpkin spice, vanilla spice, and apple pie flavors as well!

Two new fall drinks from Kahwa Coffee sit on a board: The GOlden hour latte and a harvest chai

Kahwa Coffee
Find the Kahwa nearest you
Kahwa Coffee has served Tampa and the greater Tampa area for more than 15 years. This locally owned coffee roaster has an amazing staff serving multiple locations and continues to craft the most refreshing brews in the region. Enjoy their tried and true Pumpkin Spice Latte iced or hot this fall. If you want to switch it up, check out their Harvest Chai Latte (think caramel, crisp apple butter, and cinnamon) and their new Golden Hour Latte with turmeric, cardamom, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

Paradeco Coffee Roasters
111 2nd Ave NE Suite 101
One of downtown’s most aesthetically pleasing cafés, Paradeco Coffee Roasters serves up a mean kimchi potato hash (add egg and avocado). They have a whole crew of fall drinks lined up so here’s the hit list. Yes, they’ll have a pumpkin spice latte. But they also have a butter pecan latte, a golden milk latte, and a cozy chai cider and we might just have to order one of each.
