Downtown Style File: French Toast on Sunday

St. Pete native Nora Gaunt–whom you’re most likely to see helping vintage-loving fashionistas select pieces from the offerings at Little Brooklyn Vintage–definitely has her own style. And by her own style, we mean her own style. As the proprietor of Sunday French Toast, her own Etsy Shop for upcycled clothing, Nora creates fashion from fabrics she gleans from the thrift stores around town.

The 25-year-old also loves to shop for unique clothing, especially at Little Brooklyn Vintage, where, she says with a laugh, she "probably shops too much!" She also has great appreciation for the other vintage and upcycle shops in the ‘Burg, including Ramblin’ Rose and Misred Outfitters

Nora, who was born in St. Pete and lived here most of her life, is a big fan of the ‘Burg.

"I love that it’s the best of both worlds–It’s got a big city vibe with the small town neighborliness. I love that i can wear flip flops every day. I  love that the art scene is really blossoming." She stops for breath, and continues. "I love that we have the most beautiful skies in the world."
