With market season in full gear, there are a plethora of places to find local goodies. For those who like a little sea breeze with their shopping, the weekly Corey Avenue Sunday Market is one of the best hidden gem destinations in the area.

Unlike many markets, the Corey Avenue Sunday Market specializes in delightful indulgences. The market is filled with great food, sweet desserts, baked goods, smoked salts, fresh coffee, aromatic candles, and local nurseries with tons of plants. In addition to all the treats, local artists showcase crafts and other creations.

The market’s primary season kicked off in October, and the sunny market brings in dozens of vendors every Sunday from 10 am – 2 pm at 300 Corey Avenue. Local artisans spread across three blocks surrounding (and along) Corey Avenue, creating a gathering of makers that’s one of the best treat yourself experiences around town.

While the vendors on hand rotate week by week, some of the consistent stars help make the market a must-visit every Sunday. Sweet treats are always a hit from regulars like Churned Ice Cream, Baked in the Burg, and Vegan Sunshine Desserts. For something on the more savory side, we recommend Tamales Azteca Rojo, Crooked Johnson’s small batch meats, or Komeme’s vegan empanadas.

And of course, there’s fresh food from Aurora’s Produce or the Florida Fruit Co-Op, scented goodies for the house from Julien or Moon and Mantras, or a delicious cup of joe from Grove Surf + Coffee. Learn more about Corey Avenue Sunday Market and keep up with vendors on their facebook page.
