One of the Tampa Bay area’s best and biggest music festivals is back with the 44th Annual Clearwater Jazz Holiday taking place Thursday, October 19 through Sunday, October 22. Clearwater’s oldest music festival is moving to the region’s newest concert venue, setting up for four days of incredible shows at the brand new amphitheater The Sound in Coachman Park, located at 225 Drew Street in Clearwater.
The stellar list of headliners for the weekend promises an entertaining four days of music in Clearwater. The Beach Boys and the Good Vibrations Orchestra take the main stage Thursday, while Gladys Knight stars on Friday night, Buddy Guy’s ‘Damn Right Farewell’ tour brings the noise on Saturday night, followed by the great Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band closing out the weekend on Sunday evening.

As part of Thursday night’s show, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater will be giving away a Ron Jon surfboard autographed by The Beach Boys. VSPC noted that more than 32,000 attendees are expected over the course of the festival, generating an estimated total economic impact of more than $3 million dollars for Pinellas County and more than $200,000 in local taxes.
The 44th Clearwater Jazz Holiday also features a “Daytime Downtown Celebration” with free jazz concerts on Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22, prior to the evening shows at The Sound from 11:30 am – 4:30 pm in three different performance areas. Public parking is available throughout downtown Clearwater, and a variety of beer, wine, and full-liquor bars are conveniently located throughout The Sound. Main concessions include popcorn, pretzels, and an assortment of canned sodas, as well as local food trucks offering a variety of food selections each day.

The Clearwater Jazz Holiday is a four-day and four-night, world-class, live, music festival, enjoyed by over 35,000 people the third week of every October and now in its 44th year. The music festival has evolved from a series of concerts on the back of a flatbed truck and at venues around Clearwater into an annual, international, music festival that draws tens of thousands of visitors each year.
The festival is set in beautiful Coachman Park in Clearwater, against the backdrop of the Gulf of Mexico, warm breezes, brilliant sunsets, and one of the world’s greatest beaches. The festival features a combination of legendary and relevant musical artists and a gathering of an amazingly diverse fan base.
