Ready to party? ThIs Friday, May 5, the Fiesta St. Pete Cinco de Mayo Block Party is shutting down the streets and bringing a massive celebration of food, drink and music to downtown St. Pete. Hosted jointly by The Avenue and Park & Rec, the festival is a tequila and street food-fueled extravaganza on the 300 Block of 1st Avenue South.
The sprawling 21+ celebration is closing down the street for a party taking over the entire block. Festivities for Fiesta St. Pete begin at 4 pm and will continue well past midnight. Tickets start at $10 and include a free jello shot upon entry, as well entry into the raffle contest with tons of prizes, including a 75-inch TV.

The Cinco de Mayo party includes tons of drink specials, a live mariachi band on the outdoor stage, stilt walkers, fire performers, pinatas, go go dancers, and live DJ sets all night long. Plus, the kitchens will be pumping out specialty food all night, including street tacos, nachos, elote, churros, and more. Plus, as always, the courtyard will be packed full of games.
And if you really feel like going all out for the celebration, there will be a VIP tent with a private bar and private bathrooms, and bottle service will also be available in VIP and on the stage. The “Upgraded Admission” tickets are $60 and include VIP access as well as the food package and drink tickets.
And of course, with The Avenue and Park & Rec hosting the party, there will be tons of bars to choose from both indoors and out. Drink specials will be available for cocktails, beer, seltzer and even frozen drinks, with deals on Patron, Cazadores, Del Mugeuy, Nutrl, Corona, Modelo and more.
