The Book Rescuers is home to a massive collection of used books that you can shop at their warehouse in Pinellas Park. You can find the huge space at 10410 66th St N Unit 6. It’s a treasure trove of books with plenty to browse for both children and adults.

Their stock comes from donations making them the last possible stop for books before a landfill. As such, The Book Rescuers lovingly call themselves “book re-homing specialists”. With the majority of their books priced from $1–3, it’s easy to spend an afternoon digging through their shelves. They’re open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm. On Sundays they’re open from 12pm to 5pm.

Rescue the Book Rescuers on Sept. 24

On Saturday, September 24, from 11am to 6pm, they’re hosting a massive fundraising event to help ensure the future of their bookshop. They’ll be introducing two new sections to the shop: autographed books and brand new books (60–70% off sticker price) at the event. Their new BOGO book sale has its first appearance during the event as well. Each day, a new section of the store will be buy one get one free. Stop by for donation-based food, local artist booths, live music, and more.

They told us that if you line up their entire slew of shelves, they would measure a full mile of books! You can find fabulous picture books and board books that will take you down memory lane, a wide variety of classic science fiction and fantasy titles, the best in crime fiction and thrillers, vintage cookbooks, and astounding texts covering sociology, political science, and more.
