Billboard displays celebrate Canterbury School graduates

This year, high school graduates won’t get the same sort of celebration and ceremony classes before them had. Canterbury recognized that all Class of 2020 students are mourning the loss of their senior year celebrations and opportunities to say good-bye to friends and teachers who have been a part of the journey. In an effort to acknowledge them, Canterbury placed seven ads running on three digital billboards recognizing the senior class and congratulating all Pinellas County Seniors.

“We want to show our seniors that they are incredibly important to us and that “we see them”, we see their hurt, we see their hope, and we see all they have accomplished even though we can’t see them in person.”   Amber Lavender, Marketing and Communication

Canterbury’s Upper School Principal Donnamarie Hehn had this to say:

“We are so proud of the Class of 2020 and how these seniors have added to our school culture with their scholarship, leadership, athleticism, and love for our school. This class has already made history and we know they will continue to do so.”

Canterbury’s Senior Class President Maddie Fine had this to say:

“I feel genuinely cared about. I know how they are trying their hardest to make our senior year amazing. And we cannot thank them enough for that, along with everything else they have done for us throughout our years here.”

Way to go, Grads! Best of luck in all that you do in the future.
