New wine and charcuterie shop, Adult Therapy, is now open in Historic Uptown at 499 7th Ave N.

The beloved owners of Must Wine Loft, Jessica Arkwright and Raymond Cotteret, have brought their passion for wine to a new space with a fresh concept. The duo has relocated their business to Glass Of Life, a stained glass studio in Historic Uptown operated by local artist Jodi Chemes. Now rebranded as Adult Therapy, the new venture offers curated wine and charcuterie selections designed to pair perfectly with a stained glass class—or a laid-back picnic across the street at Round Lake.

Adult Therapy will celebrate its grand opening on Tuesday, April 30, from 6–9 p.m. at 499 7th Ave N.

Now located inside Glass Of Life, Adult Therapy is a collaboration between the wine pros and the stained glass artist. The result: “creative workshops for adults where wine is served.”

“We want an active neighborhood space,” says Chemes. On Friday nights, they’ll host glass workshops with self-service wine. On select Saturday nights, the space transforms into an immersive experience with themed murder mystery pop-ups. The first whodunit will take place on Saturday, May 17.

Decadent charcuterie boards and bottles of wine

Co-owner Raymond Cotteret handcrafts exquisite charcuterie boards. Retail cheese, mini-boards, and pre-packaged snacks are available for grab-and-go picnics, but custom boards are also available with advance notice.

“It’s all artisanal charcuterie, mostly French and Spanish,” says Arkwright. Each board includes a curated selection of cheeses—cow, sheep, goat, and vegan—alongside premium meats like beef, lamb, and pork. Accents include housemade fig mustard, almonds, fresh and dried fruits, crostini, and seeded crackers. Optional add-ons range from raw honeycomb and Mediterranean olives to apricot preserves and pistou-stuffed peppadews.

New to wine and cheese pairings? Arkwright has a tip: “What grows together goes together.” She explains that wines and cheeses from the same region often make the best pairings. “Nature pairs with nature. You’ll taste it on your palate.”
