A Very Broadway Christmas stands out as the largest collection of Broadway talent to ever grace a stage in St. Pete, offering an experience unlike any other in town. The cast includes not only Broadway stars but also exceptional local performers such as America’s Got Talent semifinalist Pranysqa Mishra, the Pinellas County Center for the Arts Vox Nova Chamber Choir, and a 16-person ensemble showcasing full-scale Broadway production numbers.

Organized by Broadway On The Bay, last year’s debut of A Very Broadway Christmas wowed audiences, and this year promises to be even bigger and better. Comparable to the style and festive energy of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, the 90-minute show features classic Christmas songs, thrilling dance performances, and heartwarming stories from the Broadway stars themselves, breaking the fourth wall to share their experiences and memories.

And don’t forget to arrive early or stay late—Santa will be in the theater lobby for photos before and after each show, making it a perfect family outing.

A Very Broadway Christmas is the brainchild of Scott Difford and Heather Tepe, a Broadway-born married couple who now call St. Pete home. Together, they founded Broadway On The Bay, a company dedicated to bringing world-class musical theater to the local arts scene.

While St. Pete is known for its thriving arts community, Difford and Tepe noticed a lack of consistent Broadway-style musical theater productions. Their vision for a regional theater company aims to combine local talent with Broadway professionals, creating unforgettable performances that residents can both enjoy and take pride in.

“We talked to them and shared our vision for a regional theatre company,” Difford explained. “One that is locally produced, with local performers, and also brings in out-of-town talent from Broadway.”

Their first production, A Very Broadway Christmas, is a testament to this vision, offering a glimpse of what’s to come as they continue building St. Pete’s reputation as a destination for high-caliber performing arts.
