Pinellas Park is quickly becoming one of the most exciting areas in the Tampa Bay region. Yes, it’s home to one wild model train store, and my personal favorite taco shop, Señor Taco, can be found in this sprawling city. That’s in addition to Derrek Donnelly’s enigmatic art COVE. Now you can add a massive food festival to the list of reasons to go beyond the ‘Burg.

The event, put together by LocalShops1, is a tasting event for everyone regardless of your palette and/or foodie preferences. Florida Food and Brews Fest takes place on Saturday, February 1 at England Brothers Park (5010 81st Ave N) from 11am-5pm. Use code LoveLocal to get an exclusive iLovetheBurg ticket discount!

Gluten-free and vegan options available

Before you even ask: Yes, there will be gluten-free and vegan options available at the event. This really is a tasty event for all. This is also a bit of a competition for area restaurant. Spots like Pipo’s, CD Roma, Brass Bowl, Grain & Berry, Rawk Star, Gaia Donut, Pesky Pelican, Flying Boat Brewing Co. and more spots will go head to head in a variety of categories.

Get ready for drinks, desserts, and devilishly good entrees for hours on end.

Live entertainment planned for the event

It’s not all about bites and brews. There will be live entertainment throughout the event. Did I mention wiener dog races?!

Attendees will be able to shop local as art and fashion vendors from the Tampa Bay area will participation a local market.
